Edmund Industrial Optics Announces New Metric Mounting and Positioning Equipment
Feb 24, 2003, Barrington, NJ - Edmund Industrial Optics (EO) of Barrington, New Jersey has announced the release of several metric mounts and positioners, thus increasing the company's range of options for metric systems. New equipment includes rack and pinion posts, laser holders, and two XYZ stages.
Metric adjustable height rack and pinion posts mount direction to M16 holes on positioning stages, or can mount to breadboards. The posts have adjustable travel distances of 25 or 45mm. A locking knob secures post's position.
Metric laser holders are designed to mount helium neon lasers -- or other glass tube assemblies -- with a twin-ring design. Both fixed and adjustable versions are available. The holder includes a removable metric post, although a post-holder is required to mount to a breadboard.
Three-axis metric stages are available in both large and small sizes. Both come with leadscrew drives and locking knobs.
