Motor provides improved heat dissipation.

Press Release Summary:

Based on ultrasonic standing waves, HR8EE Piezoelectric motors provide 25% more speed, force, and duty cycle than HR8 motor. HR8EE improves heat dissipation allowing for significant improvement to Envelope of Performance for use with advanced motion control and automation systems. Maximum speed increases to 350 mm/sec; maximum force increases to 45 N.

Original Press Release:

25% More HR8EE Motor

Nanomotion introduces the HR8EE motor, providing 25% MORE SPEED, FORCE, AND DUTY CYCLE. The "EE" version of the HR8 motor improves heat dissipation allowing for significant improvement to the Envelope of Performance. Maximum speed increases to
350mm/sec, maximum force increases to 45N and duty cycle improves greatly.
