DMP's New Wireless 1124 360° PIR Motion Detector Is an All-Around Favorite
Springfield, Missouri-September 6, 2006- Digital Monitoring Products, one of the last remaining providers of control panels made in the United States, announces the release of its Two-Way Wireless 1124 PIR (Passive Infrared) 360° Motion Detector-a wireless intrusion detector used in ceiling mount applications with DMP 1100D/1100X Wireless Receivers. The special hard lens offers wide coverage patterns-even at low mounting heights-and is especially immune to sunlight, halogen lights and fluorescent lights.
"The addition of the 1124 ceiling-mount is an important complement to our line of Two-Way Wireless sensors," said DMP VP of Sales, Gary Kallman. "Their range and wireless communication will give DMP dealers increased installation speed and flexibility in applications where running wire is costly or impossible due to structural barriers."
The 1124 ceiling-mount PIR offers 360°/65.6-foot diameter coverage when mounted on a 10-foot high ceiling and provides protection from intruders using a fully sealed sensor chamber. For added reliability, the 1124 provides bi-directional temperature compensation. It includes a built-in tamper switch and selectable high/low sensitivity.
Compatible with XRSuper6, XR20, and XR40 Command Processor(TM) panels using version 300 or higher with the 1100D Wireless Receiver, and XR500 Command Processor(TM) panels using version 114 (pending release) with the 1100X Wireless Receiver.
