Motion Analysis System comes in portable package.

Press Release Summary:

MotionBlitz® assists viewing events that are moving too fast to be seen with naked eye. Events are captured into internal memory and hard disk and may be played back in slow motion to see, analyze, and document. System records pictures continuously until high-speed recording is stopped by trigger signal. CMOS sensor allows high data rate and max resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels. System offers variable frame rate from 50-4,000 fps.

CMI Introduces MotionBlitz®, a Turnkey, High-speed Motion Analysis System, in a Ruggedized and Portable Package

San Diego, CA - Computer Modules, Inc., (CMI) announced the introduction of MotionBlitz, a ruggedized, full-featured Motion Analysis system. MotionBlitz is designed to assist in seeing events that are moving too fast to be seen with the naked eye. These events are captured into the internal memory and hard disk of MotionBlitz and may be played back in slow motion to see, analyze, and document these events at anytime.

"One picture is worth more than a 1,000 words when a million dollar machine malfunctions and brings production to a grinding halt. In modern production, processes are constantly made faster and more complex. If a fault occurs, the human eye is not able to grasp and analyze the mistake. Only high-speed video recordings make the invisible visible. Such recordings enable you to reveal weak points." stated Laszlo (Les) Zoltan, President of CMI.

For the analysis of any rotating machinery applications, even those with rapidly moving, sporadic processes, the MotionBlitz High-speed camera system offers the following features:

o The ring buffer storage makes it possible to record the history of an event and its progress.
o The system records pictures continuously, until the high-speed recording is stopped by a trigger signal.
o The MotionBlitz offers the option of being triggered by changes in the image.
o The CMOS-sensor allows a high-data rate and the maximum resolution of 1280 (H) x 1024 (V) pixels.
o Variable frame rate from 50 up to 4000 fps
o Compact, portable and immediately ready for use
o Storage of external digital I/O conditions
o Image storage in BMP and AVI format
o AUTO-SAVE-function for long time recording

The CMI MotionBlitz is designed to be used in a number of diverse applications; from explosion documentation and military weapons studies, to automotive safety studies, in field motion analysis, as well as the space program. The MRSP for MotionBlitz is $17,995.
