Morris Technologies to Exhibit at 2012 IMTS

Greg Morris will be presenting at TRAM3 conference

CINCINNATI - Morris Technologies, Inc. (MTI) will be exhibiting at the upcoming International Manufacturing and Technology Show (IMTS). One of the largest industrial trade shows in the world, IMTS takes place September 10- 15, 2012 in Chicago, IL. Professionals from across the globe attend the conference to see the latest breakthroughs in manufacturing. To learn more about IMTS, visit www.imts.com.

Morris Technologies will be exhibiting at IMTS in the North Building, Booth N-6982. On display will be several sample metal parts that were grown using either direct metal laser sintering (DMLS) or electron beam melting (EBM) technology. The samples will demonstrate MTI's expertise in using additive manufacturing to produce components with complex geometries that would be difficult or impossible to create through casting or machining. Photos of parts can also be viewed at the Morris Technologies website at www.morristech.com.

Morris Technologies also boasts a world-class machine shop that features Swiss Turn, Extrude Hone, EDM, and 3-, 4- and 5-axis CNC.

Concurrent with the IMTS, the Trends in Advanced Machining, Manufacturing & Materials (TRAM3) conference will be taking place on September 12 - 13 in the West Building, Room W470. Sponsored by Rolls-Royce and Boeing, TRAM3 will examine the implications of manufacturing trends by focusing on three key areas: advanced machining processes, advanced manufacturing technologies, and advanced materials. Morris Technologies CEO, Greg Morris, will be conducting a session titled "Additive Metals Manufacturing: A Growing Disruptive Technology" on September 12, 3:35 p.m. - 3:55 p.m. EDT.
