Montage Rolls Out the World's First 2nd-Generation DDR4 Registering Clock Driver (DDR4RCD02)
SHANGHAI, China –Â Montage Technology Group Limited ("Montage") (Nasdaq:MONT), a global fabless provider of analog and mixed-signal semiconductor solutions for the home entertainment and cloud computing markets, today announced its roll-out of the world's first 2nd-Generation DDR4 Registering Clock Driver (DDR4RCD02).
The DDR4RCD02 chip is fully compliant with the latest JEDEC DDR4RCD02 specification and is able to support DDR4-2667 operating speed and above. The chip has significant improvements in performance and speed over the existing 1st-generation DDR4 Registering Clock Driver (DDR4RCD01) which supports up to DDR4-2400. Montage is now ready to deliver DDR4RCD02 engineering samples to the customers to enable the 2nd-generation DDR4 RDIMM and LRDIMM applications.

Product Availability
Montage is now ready to provide engineering samples of the 2nd-generation Registering Clock Driver, M88DDR4RCD02, to our customers. The M88DDR4RCD02 is in a 253-ball Flip-Chip Fine-Pitch BGA package.
Montage's 1st-generation DDR4 devices, including a DDR4 Register Clock Driver (M88DDR4RCD01) and a DDR4 Data Buffer (M88DDR4DB01), have been shipping since May 2013. M88DDR4RCD01 is available in a 253-ball Flip-Chip Fine-Pitch BGA package and M88DDR4DB01 is available in a 53-ball Flip-Chip Fine-Pitch BGA package.
