Quest Introduces the TELSEC MINI PRO to Expand the Versatile MINI Product Family for Critical Facility Monitoring



Palmetto, Florida - Quest Controls, Inc. is pleased to introduce the TELSEC MINI(TM) PRO to provide alarm monitoring in cabinets, OTN's, shelters, hubs, small remote sites, and data switching and computer centers.

The TELSEC MINI PRO is the latest addition to the MINI family of products. The Pro is available in configurations of 16, 24 and 32 Inputs and has an option for MODBUS polling over serial communications. MODBUS alarms and data can be collected from several different types of equipment including HVAC systems, Power Meters, generators, ATS, UPS, and other power equipment.

The MINI PRO reduces visits to remote sites and eliminates downtime by acting as an early warning system. It provides real-time visibility to remote sites and is simple to install and program through its embedded, built-in WEB Server.

The TELSEC MINI PRO is a very compact monitoring system that can be mounted on a rack, a wall or just about anywhere in a cabinet, OTN or small remote site. The MINI PRO supports dual feed powering from 24-48VDC and can monitor temperature, humidity, current, voltage, commercial power fail, DC Plant, Invertor and UPS alarms, HVAC failures, fire/smoke, intrusion, and other equipment failures and environmental parameters. The universal inputs accept digital contacts or any 0-5VDC or 4-20mA sensors. The TELSEC MINI PRO has four digital outputs that can be used to send alarms over the overhead to an alarm center or for a local annunciator.

The TELSEC MINI(TM) PRO provides SNMP traps or informs over Ethernet back to an alarm center and to Quest's Q-View and OspreyFMS(TM) Server Software. In addition, it provides email alarm messaging and comes standard with a friendly, versatile embedded Web Server. A user can interrogate their remote facility from any location on the network through a standard web browser. The MINI PRO is easily configured in the field through a web browser and all settings are saved to non-volatile memory.
