New Combustible Gas Monitor


December 11, 2001 -- The new Model 2001 Combustible Gas Monitor is a compact, solid-state, fixed-installation single alarm monitor for continuous area monitoring of Combustible gas in the 500 - 10,000 ppm Methane range. This new cost-effective monitor provides the user with many selectable features that makes it adaptable to many applications. Output features for the Model 2001 include LED indication of alarm, audible buzzer output, or electronic output signal to the Sierra Monitor Alarm Panel. This monitor comes standard with a normally operating open relay, but the user can also select a Fail-Safe normally operating closed relay.

A solid-state semiconductor-type sensor and associated electronic circuitry ensure trouble-free, long-term operation. Except for periodic calibration to verify alarm setting, no attention is required after installation.
