Binder-USA Releases Molded Eight-Pin M8 Cordsets



Camarillo, CA - Binder-USA is pleased to announce the most recent addition of molded eight-pin cordsets to the M8 sensor connector range. The new cordset is a response to the high demand for smaller connectors that can transmit the maximum amount of signals possible. With the new M8 cordset it is possible to transmit up to 8 signals from a connector that is only 9.7 mm in diameter. The M8 connectors are ideally suited for actuator or sensor applications in the automation industry.

The cordsets have an open cable end with cables available in polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or polyurethane (PUR), which have a cross-section of 0.25 mm² (24 AWG) and offered in standard 2-, 5- or 10-meter lengths. Custom wire sizes, lengths and materials are available upon request.

Each cordset has eight gold-plated contacts and have a rated current of 1.5 amps per contact and an overall rated voltage of 30 volts. All versions are IP 67 rated when fully mated to their connecting parts.
