Leslie, MI - Release Coating 7887, a water-based mold release formulated for in-mold
painted polyurethane applications, was announced recently by Huron Technologies, Inc. This technological development is versatile, allowing Huron Technologies to control desired gloss quality as specified by the customer. Release Coating 7887 also increases the number of parts which can be made before cleaning molds by minimizing build up through a blend of wax and silicone. Release Coating 7887 is an adjustment to existing technology and provides:
Developed to release arm rests, we believe that Release Coating 7887 would also be useful for automotive steering wheels and related handles. Release Coating 7887 is available in 5 gallon containers and 55 gallon drums.
