Henkel Loctite Introduces Mold Release Coating for Rotationally Molded Resins

Rocky Hill, Conn. - June 28, 2002. Henkel Loctite Corporation has introduced Frekote® Aqualine Rotolease(TM), a water-based, non-flammable release agent for most rotationally molded resins. Designed to provide multiple releases per application with no contaminating transfer, Rotolease offers superior release
performance and reduced scrap.

Frekote Aqualine Rotolease can be applied to molds at any temperature between room temperature and 205°C. The release agent chemically bonds to the mold surface to form a micro-thin, chemically resistant coating. As Rotolease contains no CFCs and no chlorinated, aromatic, or petroleum-based solvents, it is one
of the safest, non-flammable, non-irritating, low VOC products available. When used appropriately, this mold release agent offers no mold build-up, allows for easy multiple releases, and exhibits high thermal stability (>230°C) for all molding processes.
