Loctite Introduces Aerosolized Frekote S-20
Rocky Hill, Conn. - February 15, 2001... Loctite Corporation has introduced a new aerosolized formulation of Frekote® S-20, a silicone rubber mold release coating. The convenient aerosol spray packaging for Frekote S-20 eliminates the need to invest in spray equipment, simplifying and reducing the overall cost of the coating application process.
Loctite® Frekote S-20 is designed for use in mold temperatures from 140 F to 375 deg F, and is an effective replacement for many fluorocarbon-based release agents. The product offers excellent release properties and performs well in the most challenging release molding applications where minimal mold buildup and no contaminating transfer are required. In addition to the 11.5-ounce aerosol spray cans, Frekote S-20 is available as a liquid in 1 gallon, 5 gallon, and 55-gallon containers.
