New Mold Release for Auto Interior Components

New, water based mold release agents have been introduced by Huron Technologies of Leslie, MI that have proven especially effective for molding urethane foam and elastomeric components. The new mold release agents are formulated specially for use with spray elastomeric and castable urethane compounds. The new mold release agents allow for fast, easy release of the foam parts from the mold. In most cases these new water based release agents dry with no additional heat source. The molding release process is so dry there is virtually no clean-up after molding. The new release agents are environmentally friendly and contain none of the hydrocarbon solvents that are present in solvent based release coatings. Huron Technologies, Inc develops and manufacturers release agents for polyurethanes, rubber elastomers and composites providing a wide range of off-the-shelf release agents as well as custom mold release agents to meet customer requirements.
