Rocky Hill, Conn. - July 28, 2003.... Henkel Loctite Corporation has introduced Frekote® Aqualine® PUR-100, a water-based mold release agent developed for releasing rigid, high density polyurethane foam and cast polyurethane parts.
Frekote Aqualine PUR-100 is designed to deliver multiple releases from a single application and can release certain low-density polyurethane foams. Non-toxic and non-flammable, the coating is freeze/thaw stable and environmentally friendly, formulated with very low levels of VOCs. Parts molded with PUR-100 can be painted without any interim post-finishing or cleaning steps. As this mold release agent will not settle, it requires no agitation prior to application.
