Chagrin Falls, Ohio . TrueTon(TM) Air Cooled Mold Chillers and TwinPak Air Cooled Mold Chillers from IMS Company now include four upgraded premium features as standard. IMS is the leading distributor of auxiliary equipment and supplies for the plastics processing industry.
Premium features on both styles of chillers are at no additional cost and include: a discharge pressure gauge; a top fill tank port; and expanded electronic controls featuring large discharge and return displays, low coolant warning iight, high temperature alarm, and separate compressor and pump switches. IMS TrueTon(TM) Air Cooled Mold Chillers also feature casters as an upgrade from standard on models up to 5 ton.
Manufactured for IMS by Schreiber Engineering, both styles of mold chillers minimize mold temperature variations to mold better parts in less time and with fewer rejects. TrueTon(TM) Chillers provide one full ton of cooling (12,000 BTU/hr) with 44°F water at 95°F ambient temperature (based on ARI standards). TrueTon(TM) Mold Chillers are ideally suited to a system that requires a closed loop, chilled water system.
TrueTon(TM) Air Cooled Mold Chiller models up to and including 7.5 ton models are part of the IMS ResQSM program, specially designated products ready for immediate shipment. ResQSM is available only from IMS.
TrueTon(TM) TwinPak Air Cooled Mold Chiller features a design that splits the refrigeration between two independent systems for maximum efficiency and load distribution.
