Moisture Analyzer finds traces in parts per billion.

Press Release Summary:

MTO-1000-H20 trace moisture analyzer combines CW laser technology with cavity ring-down spectroscopy (CRDS) to measure moisture in electronic gases, including corrosives. It makes accurate measurements in less than 1 sec, making it suitable for continuous on-line process control. Instrument does not require calibration, resists corrosion, and has multi-valve inlet that allows for moisture detection in up to 4 gas streams.

Introducing Trace Moisture Analyzer for Corrosive Electronic Gases

Tiger Optics, LLC (formerly a division of MEECO, Inc.) announces its new MTO-1000-H20 trace moisture analyzer. This unit couples CW Laser Technology with Cavity Ring-Down Spectroscopy (CRDS) to measure moisture in electronic gases, including corrosives, down to one part-per-billion. CRDS technology uses affordable, low power continuous wave diode lasers to provide an exact, non-invasive, and rapid means to detect contaminants. This analyzer is the first commercially available CRDS-based device.

Simple to operate, the MTO-1000 makes accurate measurements in less than a second and is ideal for continuous on-line process control. Based on an absolute technology, the instrument does not require calibration. The moisture analyzer is resistant to corrosion and its multi-valve inlet design allows for moisture detection up to four gas streams. The first in a series of products, the MTO-1000-H20 product affords the semiconductor industry a moisture analyzer for ultra- high purity inert and corrosive gas analysis.
