Action Instruments Announces the New I/O Pak(TM) DL Series of Modules for Industrial Data Acquisition and Control
SAN DIEGO, CA - Eurotherm's Action Instruments announces immediate availability of the I/O Pak(TM) DL Series of Data Acquisition Modules. The I/O Pak DL-Series of intelligent data logging modules are full-featured modules with Modbus, Profibus and ASCII serial interfaces included. These modules can log
data from their on-board I/O channels as well as from other I/O Pak C-Series and K-Series modules on the network. The DL-Seres consists of three different data logging modules, the IOPK-DL100-U, IOPK-DL101-U and the IOPK-DL104-T. The first two support eight or six universal analog inputs respectively while the IOPK-DL104-T is dedicated to four PT-100 RTD inputs. They all support modems, pager messaging on alarms, scheduled and event driven data uploading and a whole lot more.
To support all this functionality are several software packages from which to choose. There are two configuration software packages available. The IOPK-ICP-STD package contains basic configuration software only. The IOPK-ICP-ADV package contains all the functions of the STD version, but adds Profibus-DP and modem functionality. There are also three different data logging packages. The basic package, IOPK-LOG1 is the economical I/O Pak data logging and visualization software. IOPK-LOG1 can only display 8 channels at a time and can only support 80 channels maximum. The IOPK-ECONSOLE-L package adds enhanced functionality over the LOG1 package while the IOPK-ECONSOLE-S package adds the modem communication and auto-archiving capabilities. The ECONSOLE packages support an unlimited number of channels and can also be configured to periodically archive data to a PC. ECONSOLE also supports computational scripting using built-in Visual Basic commands.
