Industry's Quietest Modular Power Supply from Excelsys
Excelsys announces the expansion of their Xgen modular power supply series with new 800 Watt power chassis featuring only 38.3dBA of acoustic noise over all load conditions, making this family the quietest modular power supply in the market.
This reduction in audio noise and accompanying vibration makes these new products ideal for medical, scientific, laboratory and broadcast applications. There are two chassis platforms, the XBC which is approved for UL60950-1 applications and the XWC approved to UL/EN60601-1 applications. Both the XBC / XWC chassis provides 800 watts of power and measures only 10.24 x 5.00 x 1.59". Both chassis may be configured with up to 6 output modules rated for 104-240 watts and single or dual output voltages of 1-58VDC. The chassis features %SB, AC Fail, Fan Fail, global on/off and temperature signals. Single Output modules feature remote sense, VTrim, ITrim, on/off control and power good signals. All outputs are fully user adjustable and may be combined in series for higher voltages or parallel for higher currents. Other features include high efficiency of 89%, individual output control, 85-264VAC input with Active Power Factor Correction and a full suite of protection features including OVP, OCP,
SCP and OTP.
These new Xgen chassis are available now with evaluation quantities available from stock and manufacturing lead times of 8-12 weeks. Standard pricing is as low as $850 for configured XBC power supplies in 100 piece quantities.
