Redesigned Modular Mezzanine Increases Floorspace Quickly

Souderton, PA -- W.A. Schmidt Inc. has recently re-designed its ExpandaLoft(TM) modular mezzanine line for easy ordering and fast deliveries. ExpandaLoft mezzanines are available in nine standard sizes to suit a wide range of free-standing installations.

Unlike other modular structures which use roll-formed elements, Schmidt's new design uses structural steel columns, support beams and connections to maximize strength and rigidity. ExpandaLoft is designed to handle loads of up to 150 pounds per
square foot and comes with 1-1/2" square guardrail and flooring constructed of open bar grating or steel B-deck with two layers of 1/2" wood. Optional stairs, gates, guardrail designs and deck materials are available to suit virtually any environment. ExpandaLoft provides an easy way to increase workspace without the cost of a custom design.

Installations can typically be completed within a few hours, with no special tools or training required. New modules can be easily added in the future to accommodate expansion. ExpandaLoft mezzanines provide exceptional space-saving solutions for in-
plant offices, manufacturing facilities, bulk storage, machine and maintenance platforms, vision towers and cafeterias.

W.A. Schmidt designs and custom-engineers high quality wide-span and modular mezzanines plus a variety of other material handling products. Schmidt has completed more than 13,000 material handling equipment installations throughout North America
and in countries including England, Germany and Saudi Arabia.
