Marposs Introduces New E9066T Flat Panel Industrial PC At IMTS 2004
Company's smallest-ever Industrial Computer is built to survive in real shop-floor environments
Chicago, Ill., Sept. 8, 2004 - Marposs Corporation is introducing its new E9066T compact, thin-panel industrial computer at IMTS 2004 in booth D-4514. The economical E9066T has been designed to satisfy space constricted applications without compromising features and functionality of a complete industrial PC.
The new E9066T family of small, modular industrial computers provide a reliable solution for data collection, industrial control and production/factory automation. Thanks to its reduced footprint the E9066T is suitable for bench-top, panel mount, wall-mount and swing-arm applications. The E9066T, which measures only 1.77 inches (45 mm) in depth and weighs only 13 lb. (6 kg), features a 15 inch active matrix LCD display, built-in Ethernet port, two USB ports and all standard computer interface ports. An optional touch screen is available. In addition to the standard panel mount, options for a cabinet and free-standing pedestal, swing-arm, and DIN rail mounting are available.
The new E9066T is an ideal companion for Marposs' innovative Easy Box(TM) and Gage Box(TM) data acquisition systems. When bundled with it's Quick SPC(TM) for Windows® Measurement & SPC software, and "Lite" user interface, applications are achieved rapidly and conveniently.
Unlike many other so-called industrial PCs, the new E9066T is much more than an office computer in an industrial enclosure, according to Marposs engineers. The E9066T features industrial grade processors designed to draw less power and thus generate less heat. The processors are mounted using special technology that provides vibration protection. The units are designed to function within an operating temperature range of 32 to 104 degrees F and a relative humidity of from 5 to 80 percent.
