SDN Global Introduces GenSat®

Single mobile solution provides commercial grade power and communications anywhere, at the touch of a button.

Charlotte, NC -- May 29, 2007 -- SDN Global (www.sdnglobal.com) announced the availability of a new suite of products designed specifically to address the shortfalls of recent disaster response events. GenSat® is reported to be the first such solution targeted at delivering complete facilities power and robust carrier grade communications.

"There are anticipated to be 17 named storms forming in the Atlantic basin between June 1 and Nov. 30. Nine of the 17 storms are predicted to become hurricanes, and of those nine, five are expected to develop into intense or major hurricanes. With the probability of a major hurricane making landfall along the U.S. coastline at over 70 percent compared with the last-century average of 52 percent, municipalities and companies need, more than ever, to be prepared with their contingency and continuity planning," said Phil Arcoria, Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Business Development at SDN Global. "We have found that communications was not only interrupted during last years outages, but power supplied to the effected area was as well. Just having the communications system is not enough. Getting it to run in a disaster environment is of critical and paramount importance. This is why we developed this system. To provide perfect protection from the perfect storm."

GenSat®60, a 60kW unit equipped with high speed satellite, wireless access, voice services, and video surveillance was unveiled last week at the Governor's Hurricane Conference in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. GenSat® utilizes the SDN Global Network and is reportedly capable of supporting from two to two hundred simultaneous telephone calls while providing Internet and video services.

SDN Global announced that GenSat® is also available in 90kW, 145kW, and 215kW power generation size ranges.
