Mobile Satellite Ventures Unveils MSAT-G2 Tracking

A key new feature for the MSAT-G2 Mobile Satellite Radio

LAS VEGAS, March 28 -- Mobile Satellite Ventures (MSV) announces the availability of MSAT-G2 Tracking, yet another key feature for the MSAT-G2 Mobile Satellite Radio. Powered by Skymira LLC, a wireless communications solution company, MSAT-G2 Tracking is a powerful event-driven service that operates exclusively with the popular push-to-talk mobile satellite radio launched last year. The radio's antenna system contains a GPS receiver which enables the transmission of GPS location information over the MSAT Network when a user presses the PTT button or initiates a telephone call.

Through Skymira's web-based mapping solution, land mobile and maritime fleet managers now have the ability to pin-point the exact location of their MSAT-G2 radio users at the click of a mouse. This can be an invaluable tool in both emergency situations and day-to-day operations, improving the safety, effectiveness and efficiency of fleet operations.

"MSV's MSAT voice and data platform combined with Skymira's cutting edge applications and services provide Government and Industry with a robust solution to meet any challenging environment," says Robert Landsfield, President of Skymira LLC.

Demand for the MSAT-G2 has grown steadily over the past year as additional features have been added. "MSAT-G2 Tracking has already created significant interest among emergency responders and fleet management organizations," adds John Mattingly, President, MSV Satellite Services. "Launching a GPS tracking feature alongside an already powerful satellite-based push-to-talk radio provides our customers with a valuable tool to manage their resources."

MSV is launching the new MSAT-G2 Tracking service in Las Vegas at the International Wireless Communications Exposition (IWCE) March 28-30, 2007.
