BearCom Introduces QuickSite(TM) Mobile Emergency Radio Towers and Portable Repeaters

DALLAS, Jan. 27 -- BearCom Wireless Worldwide, a leader in wireless communication solutions, announces the release and delivery of their latest product innovation -- QuickSite(TM) 1000 portable emergency radio tower. Additionally, QuickSite 750 is BearCom's first portable radio repeater offered in a customizable "suitcase" solution. BearCom offers a full array of compatible communication equipment including digital cellular phones, Icom and Motorola two-way radios, and other wireless engineered products that enhance communication for public safety professionals as well as many other vertical markets; the QuickSite product line is a complement to BearCom's existing wireless product solutions.

QuickSite 1000, a highly mobile, trailer-based telescoping radio tower, addresses the critical need for reestablishing radio communication after a disastrous event has damaged or destroyed conventional communication systems. More than just an antenna mast, QuickSite is a customizable solution that offers a wide choice of emergency communication capabilities including:

o Radio repeaters or base stations
o Antennas for single- or multiple-frequency bands
o 802.11 Wi-Fi hotspot
o Broadband point-to-point links
o Video-over-IP transmissions
o Voice-over-IP communications
o Interoperability cross patch
o Onboard power generators
o Battery backup

QuickSite 1000 is lightweight and can easily be towed behind a pickup truck or police cruiser -- or airlifted by helicopter to a high-rise structure for enhanced operation. The unit deploys up to 42 feet in height and is durable enough to support the weight of multiple towers. Its portable qualities make QuickSite 1000 ideal as a mission-critical communication tool enabling the deployment of first responders in emergency situations. Furthermore, QuickSite can be used to establish communication in areas void of traditional tower infrastructures or where mobile and temporary communication is desired.

QuickSite 750 delivers comparable functionality in a highly-portable, suitcase-based solution. The QuickSite 750 can reestablish communication from the convenience of a command center, or wherever a power source is available. Due to its compact design, the 750's range becomes greater as Height Above Average Terrain (HAAT) increases.
Both QuickSite configurations can be purchased at a price far less than bulkier systems, which usually require heavy-duty cargo trailers or modified RVs for transporting. Because of its attractive price and flexibility, the QuickSite 1000 and the 750 are perfect for public safety, government and military use, and anywhere contingency communication operation is needed.
