BIO-key® Announces Biometric Log-on for Its Industry Leading InfoServer and MobileCop Offerings

International Association of Chiefs of Police Law Enforcement Information Technology Management Conference Serves as the Setting to Unveil Latest Law Products

WALL, N.J., June 6 -- BIO-key International, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: BKYI), a leader in finger-based biometric identification and wireless public safety solutions, announced today at the International Association of Chiefs of Police, Law Enforcement Information Management (LEIM) conference that it has released the next major upgrade of its mobile messaging and query software products, InfoServer and MobileCop. This release is the next step in providing fingerprint biometric integration to BIO-key's customers, delivering a high level of security combined with ease of use and a lower cost of ownership. BIO-key, a bronze sponsor of the conference, is showcasing InfoServer V5.1 (formerly PacketCluster Server) and MobileCop V5.1 (formerly PacketCluster Mobile) at the conference. These products contain significant new features helping our over 1200 law enforcement agencies to do their jobs more efficiently and with greater safety.

These features include:

o Biometric logon: Enables users to log on to MobileCop(TM) with a
fingerprint in place of a username and password. Never need a
password reminder or re-set again.
o Matching Recent Inquiries: Displays all recent queries by other users
that match the current query, enabling users to quickly identify
"frequent fliers".
o NCIC Query History: Provides fast, easy searching of all MobileCop
queries via a web browser and shows all queries and responses matching
the search criteria -- an important investigative tool.
o PatrolJournal(TM) Lite: Helps users quickly and easily capture all
daily activities in an electronic journal, ensuring that activity logs
are completed correctly and efficiently.
o Text-to-voice capability: Enables most messages to be read aloud to
the mobile user, helping the officer to concentrate on driving instead
of looking at a laptop screen.
o Image capture and display: Enables mobile users to capture an image
from a digital camera, scanner, or other TWAIN-compliant device, and
send the image to another MobileCop user or set of users. Pictures of
missing children, pictures of suspects and Amber alerts can be
distributed to all officers on patrol as soon as they are received.
