The Lee Tri-Mix Turbo-Shear can handle a variety of mixing problems from the dispersion of powders and oils to the mixing of viscous materials of more than 2,5000,000 CPS. The center-mounted, high-shear agitator produces speeds as high as 3,600 RPM, while a counterrotating, scraped-surface agitator yields speeds of 10-50 RPM. This unique triple concentric shaft design is superb for making toothpastes, mascaras, and a wide variety of gels in batch sizes of 10 to 1,000 gallons. Field service for installation and start-up can also be arranged.
