Minigrip Launches NEW GreenLine(TM) Biodegradable, Reclosable Zipper Bags

Kennesaw, GA - Minigrip introduces a new line of biodegradable reclosable zipper bags to the North American market. Marketed as GreenLine(TM) Biodegradable Reclosable Zipper Bags, the bags are ASTM D5511 tested to be biodegradable and offer the same great zip lock performance as traditional Minigrip® Red Line(TM) Bags.
GreenLine(TM) Biodegradable Reclosable Zipper Bags are available in 2 mil gauge and in a
range of sizes: 2"x2", 2"x3", 3"x4", 4"x6", 5"x7", 6"x8" and 9"x12". Every part of the
bag is biodegradable - the film, zipper material - everything! For end user ease-of-use, GreenLine bags are packaged in DispenserBag® convenience packaging.
GreenLine Biodegradable Reclosable Zipper Bags are ideal for use in all types of
industrial and commercial packaging.
Over the past decade, there has been increased focus on developing more earth-friendly,
biodegradable products. Standards and test methods were developed to test the
biodegradability of these products. Test Method ASTM D5511 is a method for testing
and proving the biodegradation of plastic materials under anaerobic landfill conditions.
ASTM D5511 is a test method published by the American Society for Testing and
Materials (ASTM International), one of the largest standards developers in the world.
