New Miniature Wire Guard Terminal Blocks From BlockMaster
BlockMaster's new DGWG84V8 Series of terminal blocks offers a smaller more economical option for PC board circuit designers, while at the same time, providing a wire guard feature for wire termination.
Available in two or three pole modular configurations, with an overall height of a mere 8mm, this new miniature series is particularly useful for applications and situations where printed circuit board real estate is critical in initial design criteria.
The modular design of the units of the DWDG84V8 series allows for configurations of from 2 to 24 poles and offered with a pole spacing of 3.5mm with an operating voltage of 300V at 10A. Wire Guard openings accept a solid or stranded wire range of from 18 - 24 AWG with the guard feature configuring to the conductor as the clamping screw is tightened, thereby providing a secure connection without any wire malformation. . PC mounting pins are tin plated brass with the housing material of PA 6.6 (UL94 V-O) polyamide with black, green or blue as available standard colors.
