New Miniature High Torque Step Motor

Lin Engineering of Santa Clara, CA announces a new family of three Size 11 (1.062 inch square) 2 phase hybrid step motors. The longest Lin Engineering 1.8° step motor, model 211-20-02, develops 16.6 ounce-inches of holding torque in a 1.99 inch long
package size. The shorter 211-13-02 (1.25 inches long) and the 211-18-02 (1.75 inches long) step motor models create holding torque values of 9.2 and 13.7 ounce-inches respectively.

The compact package size of the three 211 Lin Engineering step motors provides a wide speed range with near vibration free operation. The model 211-20-02 achieves a torque and speed of 7.8 ounce-inches @ 10,000 half-steps per second or 8.6 watts
output with a driver input of 24 vdc and 1.3 amps per phase bipolar excitation mode. These models can be supplied to match different input voltages and currents as well as with single or dual shaft extensions.
