Cherry Introduces New KR Series Water-Resistant Rocker Switch



PLEASANT PRAIRIE, WI. - Cherry Electrical Products introduces its new KR Series miniature, water-resistant rocker switch suited for applications in which the switch will be exposed to fluids, weather or other harsh conditions. The fully-enclosed KR Series switch features a silicone rubber actuator and snap-fit mounting, making it IP65 compliant against dust and water.

The compact KR Series uses heavy-duty silver alloy contacts to achieve current ratings of 20 amps at 14 VDC and 16 amps at 125 VAC. The miniature switch fits an industry-standard panel cut out of 13mm x 19.8mm. Common applications include outdoor appliances, power equipment, commercial appliances and medical equipment.

Cherry's KR Series is available in lighted and non-lighted versions with maintained-action and momentary function options. The standard termination is .187" (4.8mm) quick-connect tabs. Single-throw and double-throw designs are available. The KR Series is UL approved on AC loads.
