Miniature Pre-Amplifier enhances capacitive measurement.

Press Release Summary:

Max distance of 3 m between sensor and capaNCDT 6500 can be bridged without pre-amplifier. If larger distances are required, DL6510 demodulator unit is used instead of standard plug-in module. Pre-amplifier is then connected between electronics unit and sensor, amplifying sensor signal with minimal noise component. Miniature amplifier CP 6001 is used for multi-channel applications without max output requirements, and CPM 6011 can be replaced in existing measurement channel with CP 6001.

Miniature Pre-Amplifier for Capacitive Measurement Channels

A maximum distance of 3m between sensor and the capaNCDT 6500 can be bridged without a pre-amplifier. If larger distances are required, the DL6510 demodulator unit is used instead of the standard plug-in module for the capaNCDT 6500. The special pre-amplifier is then connected between the electronics unit and the sensor. This pre-amplifier amplifies the sensor signal to the required level with very low noise component. The CP 6001 amplifier is used as standard for this. This high-end unit is the correct choice for very precise measurement tasks. The new CPM 6011 miniature amplifier is used for multi-channel applications without maximum output requirements. This module is less than half the size of the high-end version but still provides high precision at a very attractive price for accurate measurements. The very lightweight CPM 6011 can be easily replaced in the existing measurement channel with the CP 6001. Only the sensor and the electronics unit are connected to the amplifier for commissioning. Both the new CPM 6011 and the CP 6001 operate with all available sensors from Micro-Epsilon.
