Miniature USB-Connected Power Meters Push High Dynamic Range to 26.5GHz

Pittsford, NY: ST Series CW Power Sensors are complete miniature (1.9" x 1.2" x 6.7") 3 oz. power meters that cover a wide 10MHz to 26.5GHz range at levels of -50 to +20dBm. These Schottky-diode-based meters contain a microcontroller that monitors the sensor, processes the measurement results, and interfaces measurement data and settings via a USB- connected desktop or laptop PC. A PDA-compatible version is also available - a world-first. This gives a familiar user interface for classic microwave power measurements in a product whose portability and affordability for RF/Microwave power measurements has previously not been possible.

PC-connection is the most cost-effective method for high-precision power measurements, especially if a PC is already in use for data acquisition and evaluation - often the case in production environments that include a process controller. The ST Series, which need no reference calibrator, can even operate with multiple sensor heads connected to the PC, all operating simultaneously.

The Power Meter is controlled using Satori software for Windows PCs - software that is powerful and flexible, yet easy to use. A software toolkit is supplied to control the power sensors via the PC. It includes a Windows DLL for customized use of the entire sensor functionality. Drivers are available for Agilent VEE and National Instruments LabVIEW.

ST Series CW Power Sensors are perfect for most power measurement uses, including: installation and maintenance, manufacturing test, ATE, research & development, for terrestrial and satellite communication, radar, telemetry, electronic warfare (EW), electronic countermeasures (ECM), and other wireless communications products. They represent a low cost alternative to traditional, expensive benchtop power measurement instruments.

Made in Europe by TTi-Satori, world-class innovators and global providers of electronic test equipment, ST Series CW Power Sensors are available now from $1,500 from Saelig Co. Inc. Pittsford, NY info@saelig.com www.saelig.com 1- 888-7SAELIG
