Miniature Pneumatic Valve System has manual overrides.

Press Release Summary:

Moduflex(TM) Miniature Pneumatic Valve System can be assembled in dual 3/2, 4/2 and 4/3 configurations in one island to meet application requirements (10 mm to 100 mm actuator bore sizes). Tie-rod connections are used to add or delete valves, as well as change valve function, tubing size or piloting. Moduflex Valve System consists of 2 valve sizes: 0.38 Cv and 1.13 Cv. Both have 2.5 mm stroke, 14 mm piston diameter and plate and slide arrangements.

Parker Introduces Moduflex (TM) Miniature Pneumatic Valve System - A Completely New Modular System Offering Maximum Adaptability and Flexibility

The Pneumatic Division of Parker Hannifin Corporation has introduced the Moduflex(TM) Miniature Pneumatic Valve System, an adaptive modular system that offers a new approach to electro-
pneumatic automation. Instead of buying a pre-assembled or custom valve islands, users can select from two standard valve sizes and assemble dual 3/2, 4/2 and 4/3 configurations in one
island to meet their application requirements (10 mm to 100 mm actuator bore sizes). The single tie-rod connection makes it easy to add or delete valves, and change a valve function, tubing size, or piloting in minutes. Single stand-alone valves can be employed for a remote application, individually wired valves in small islands can be mounted close to actuators, and larger valve islands can utilize Parker's Valvetronic system of self-addressing integrated connectors. The basic design of the valve promotes human-machine dialog. The LED, MOR and outlet ports all line up, with LED's easily matched to solenoids and respective ports. Even pressure and/or exhaust galley isolation is identified from the outside of the valve island.

The Parker Moduflex Valve System consists of two valve sizes -- 0.38 Cv and 1.13 Cv. Both have a short 2.5 mm stroke for quick response time, a large 14 mm piston diameter for greater shift force, even with dry or contaminated air, and a lapped ceramic plate and slide arrangement for total sealing and long life. Push-in pneumatic connectors may be straight or elbows for 5/32",
1/4", 5/16" or 3/8" OD tubing, or 4, 6, 8, or 10 mm OD sizes. Adaptive manual overrides permit locking for set-up and non-locking for production.
