Miniature Motor Added to AXH Series of BLDC Speed Control
Torrance, CA - Oriental Motor USA Corp. has added a new 15 watt (1/50 HP), 42 mm sq. (1.65 in. sq.) motor to its AXH Series of brushless DC speed control systems. The round shaft model (AXH015K-A) achieves a constant torque of 7.1 oz-in. over the full speed range. AXH Series motors are also available with pre-assembled gearheads. The maximum gearmotor continuous torque ranges from 2 lb-in. for the AXH015K-5 (5:1) up to 17.7 lb-in. for the AXH015K-100 (100:1).
The AXH motor has been reduced in volume by approximately 55% when compared to conventional equivalent power AC induction speed control motors. The AXH board-level drivers provide the necessary equivalent electrical power with a 60% reduction in driver volume.
The AXH Series motor and driver package provides superior speed regulation of ±1 % maximum over a 30:1 speed range (100 rpm to 3000 rpm). This performance guarantees superior speed stability with minimal speed fluctuations. The systems are UL and CUL approved and meet the CE EMC directive.
