Miniature Force Transducers cover 50 N to 50 kN ranges.

Press Release Summary:

Series C9B measures pure compressive forces, while Series U9B measures tensile and compressive forces. Both ensure precise measurement of small forces in hostile industrial environments. Available with welded bottom cover or tensile force adapters, units are hermetically sealed and fitted with diaphragm measuring body. They are suited for monitoring assembly processes or for use in testing switches, pushbuttons, or relays during manufacture.

Force Transducer Range Meets Every Need

HBM has developed a series of ten miniature force transducers covering ranges from 50 N to 50 kN. The transducers can be used for a wide range of industrial applications, such as monitoring assembly processes or for use in testing switches, push buttons or relays during manufacture.

The C9B series transducers measure pure compressive forces while the U9B series measures both tensile and compressive forces. HBM's C9B and U9B series of transducers ensure the precise measurement of small forces in hostile industrial environments.

All of the force transducers are hermetically sealed and fitted with a diaphragm measuring body. They are supplied with either a welded bottom cover or tensile force adapters.

The U9B transducers that measure between 50 and 200 N come supplied with a detachable lower tensile force adapter. This makes installation easier and reduces the mounting size so the transducers can be used where mounting space is confined.
