A new line of zirconia miniature flap discs that come in four grit sizes for grinding, blending, and finishing stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel is being introduced by Rex-Cut Products, Inc. of Fall River, Massachusetts.
Rex-Cut® Mini Flap Discs feature a quick-change Type R fastening system to let users easily change between coarse, medium, fine, and very fine grit sizes of high-performance zirconium grain abrasive. Designed to grind and blend in one operation, these miniature flap discs provide a very smooth, controlled grinding action with a cushioned "feel," claims the firm.
Designed for use in right angle grinders, Rex-Cut® Mini Flap Discs are ideally suited for blending and finishing stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel, removing machine tool marks, contouring, and general cleaning. Available in 2" and 3" dia. sizes for access into small areas, applications include weld removal and finishing frame structures, housings, and vessels.
