R+W's progressive and innovative design team has developed the MK3 series of flexible miniature metal bellows couplings to keep pace with today's increasing technical demands.
These torsionally rigid drive components are used in highly dynamic servo applications, like CNC-machining centers, robotic drives, and encoder measurement systems. They are absolutely backlash and maintenance free and are balanced for high speed.
The series MK3 is easily mounted onto a shaft with a clamping screw and an expanding shaft for a hollow bore. It incorporates a stainless steel bellow that compensates for axial, lateral and angular shaft misalignments simultaneously.
The MK3 Miniature metal bellows coupling are available for a torque range of 0,5 - 10 Nm (4 - 88.5 in. lbs.)
