New S280U Series Pro M Miniature Circuit Breakers
ABB is pleased to announce our new S280U series of Pro M miniature circuit breakers. The S280U offers all the functionality of a molded case circuit breaker, combined with the features of a miniature circuit breaker. These features include: branch circuit protection, compact size, DIN rail mounting, and current limitation. They are available in 1, 2, or 3 pole models and are ring-tongue terminal compatible.
The S280U breakers are UL489 Listed compact molded case circuit breakers. These breakers are designed for use as branch circuit protective devices for circuits feeding either resistive or inductive loads. Suitable loads include: cables, duplex plugs, lighting, motors, transformers, and other loads where significant inrush currents are possible.
The S280U can be used in applications up to 240 VAC, 14 kAIC and from 0.2 to 63 amps. This series is available in standard European and North American current sizes.
