Mini Contact and Non-Contact Tachometers

Extech's new Mini Tachometers offer the choice of contact or non-contact (photo) measurements. Both ergonomically designed meters are pocket size with a protective finger guard. Readings are displayed on a large easy to read LCD and a HOLD button freezes the displayed readings. Model 461700 is a photo tachometer measuring 10 to 99,000 rpm with 0.1% basic accuracy and 0.001 resolution. Its ideal measurement distance ranges up to 6" (300mm). Model 461750 is a contact tachometer measuring 10 to 20,000 rpm with 0.1 % basic accuracy and 0.001 resolution. It also measures linear surface speeds from 3 to 6560 ft/min, 1 to 1999.9 m/min, and 1 to 5,000 yds/min. Both models come with a 9V battery.
