Original Press Release:

Compact and Portable Mini Sifter

The new Russell Finex Mini Sifter eliminates oversized contamination from powders to improve product quality. A small motor vibrates the circular sifter allowing particles smaller than the mesh size to pass though the apertures while larger particles stay on top of the mesh. The ‘straight through design’ allows for higher throughputs. An optional outlet can be added to continuously remove contamination.

The Mini Sifter is perfect for sieving small batches of products in all industries including bakeries, laboratories; start-up companies and pilot plants.

Because the sifter quickly dis-assembles without the need for tools, operators can efficiently change or clean the mesh screen between different batches and product changes. This improves plant productivity while reducing downtime and labor costs at every screen change, inspection or cleaning. Operator safety can be further increased with the safety vibratory motor and a motor cover. It is extremely quiet in operation, typically less than 70dBA.

Since the vibratory sifter is compact and portable, a single unit can easily be moved around a plant by one person.  Durable castors make the sifter easy to manoeuvre from one process to the next.  The unit is available in a selection of polished finishes to meet quality control standards.
