AAEON Releases Two New Mid-Range Advanced System Controllers: AIS-E1-H61A & AIS-E2-CV1
Expanding AAEON’s Advanced System Controller Product Line While Fulfilling Diversified Requirements of Vertical Markets
(Taipei, Taiwan) — AAEON, a major developer of industrial computing solutions, today releases two new Mini-ITX Advanced System Controllers that offer competitive pricing in the market. Extended from the previous AAEON high-quality advanced system controller series, the AIS-E1-H61A and AIS-E2-CV1 also offer long-term accessibility at a lower cost.
The AIS-E1-H61A advanced Mini-ITX system controller supports Intel® 2nd/3rd Core TM i7/i5 Pentium® processors, with a built in Intel® H61A chipset and supports two 204-pin dual-channel DDR3 1066/1333/1600 MHz SODIMM, up to 16GB. Featuring superior connectivity with eight USB2.0 ports, dual displays via VGA, LVDS as well as DVI-D, HDMI supporting full HD dual display, two Gigabit Ethernet, two COM ports (expandable to six), three audio ports, two KB/MS ports, the AIS-E1-H61A provides fast connectivity for enhanced efficiency with rich I/Os. The AIS-E1-H61A offers two 2.5" HDD/SSD or two 3.5" HDD/SSD plus one 2.5" HDD/SSD, supporting RAID 0, 1, 5, 10, plus one onboard CF-SATA SSD and one Slim ODD bay. Optional wireless features can be added via a PCIe 3.0 mini-card slot that supports 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth™ 3.0. With 12V DC-in and measuring at 315mm x 70mm x 300mm, the desktop AIS-E1-H61A offers both performance and rich features for most SMB (Small and Medium-sized Business) and Industrial Automation requirements.
Compared with the AIS-E1-H61A, the AIS-E2-CV1 advanced Mini-ITX system controller is built to be more compact at only 195mm x 70mm x 220mm. The AIS-E2-CV1 supports Intel® AtomTM D2550 Dual Core 1.86 GHz processor, with built in Intel® NM10 chipset and supports two 204-pin dual-channel DDR3 1066 MHz SODIMM, up to 4GB. Most of the connectivity remains the same as its previous model, except for four faster 5Gb/sec USB3.0 ports, one additional DisplayPort and supports a maximum of two 2.5” HDD/SSD, due to its smaller enclosure. The smaller dimension of the AIS-E2-CV1 also makes it easier for installation in places or within systems with space constraints.
The AIS-E1-H61A and AIS-E2-CV1 advanced Mini-ITX system controllers both support easy assembly and customers can open the enclosures of these two products with the release of just one screw. This time-saving assembly function helps to achieve ease of installation. In addition, these two products also offer customization services for their enclosures and exterior design. Their front panels can be customized according to customers’ requirements and the color of their enclosures may be changed, as well.
