NTI Introduces a Low-Cost Mini HDMI Extender via One CAT6/6a/7



Aurora, OH – Network Technologies Inc (NTI) announces the addition of the Low-Cost Mini HDMI Extender to its popular line of Video Extenders. The HDMI extender transmits digital video and audio signals up to 164 feet (50 meters) using one CAT6/6a/7 cable.



Each ST-1C6-MINI-ULC consists of a local unit that connected to an HDMI source and a remote unit that connects to an HDMI display. The extender supports HDTV resolutions to 1080p and features a built-in default EDID table. HDCP compliant, the unit supports the following HDMI features: Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby Digital and DTS.



With male HDMI connectors at the local and remote unit, the extender can be connected directly to the source or display with no HDMI cable needed. The local and remote units can be powered via their USB Micro-B ports by connecting to a USB port on a USB PC or USB port on the display. Compact sizes of 3.54x1.81x0.71 inches (90x46x18 mm) for both the local and remote units provide an ideal solution for extending an HDMI display.
