Enable Inc. Launches World's Smallest Videoscope at Photonics West

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. and SAN FRANCISCO, – (Booth 4504) – Enable Inc., (  an innovator in illumination and micro imaging, will introduce the next generation of digital videoscope from their minnieScope™ product line at the upcoming Photonics West 2015 Conference in San Francisco.

The minnieScope™-XS is the world's smallest 400x400 pixel videoscope, measuring <1.4mm OD (including illumination).  It is a complete videoscope system consisting of a CMOS image sensor (minnieCam™), imaging optics, highly- flexible cable and illumination--all in a compact footprint.  A video processing unit is also part of the minnieScope™ package.

These videoscopes are ideal for medical devices where clinical use could be greatly enhanced with the addition of embedded real-time, low-cost, optical imaging.  Patented steering conduits are also available.  They provide full 360 degree steerability with single hand operation, in the smallest possible shaft profile.  Steerable conduits are available in a varying array of sizes and stiffness.
