New Square Shoulder Milling Cutters Maximize Versatility
(Plantsville, CT --- April 2003) Fansteel VR/Wesson offers a new line of high sheer, square shoulder milling cutters, which produce a smoother finish with greater machining efficiencies. The tools cut to a true 90-degree shoulder, and hold tight axial and radial tolerances. Tool bodies have through coolant holes for optimized chip evacuation. Insert geometries for steel and aluminum machining maximizes metal removal rates. Precision ground inserts allow for less radial and axial run-out, and ground wiper flats provide excellent work piece finish and longer tool life.
Positive axial and radial rakes provide maximum metal removal per horsepower, making these tools excellent for use in lighter duty machines.
