Valenite to Feature New Milling, Grooving and Drilling Tools at 2005 Westec
Valenite will exhibit a full range of cutting tools at the 2005 WESTEC Show, Booth #2716. Featured will be three series of milling cutters...the ValMILL(TM) V590 Square Shoulder Mills, the ValMILL(TM) V595 Extended Flute End Mills and the ValMILL(TM) V555 Pentagonal Face Mill. Also featured will be a representative sampling of the ValGROOVE(TM) Parting & Grooving tooling system, plus high performance ValDRILL(TM) indexable insert drills, carbide tipped spade drills and solid carbide drills. These spotlighted tools are all ideal for the tough applications of machining high-strength, high-temperature alloys predominant in the aerospace and aircraft industries, and for high volume machining of mild steels, cast irons and non-ferrous alloys.
The V590 series of mills are available in both face and end-mill configurations, and provide square, 90° shoulder milling that eliminates the need for many secondary operations. The longer flute options and multiple inserts of the V595 milling cutter series are for making deeper cuts of grooves, slots, cavities and slab milling. The series utilizes the same inserts as the V590. The V555 series is a versatile face milling system that incorporates inserts with five cutting edges to lower tooling costs while providing higher strength, stability and rigidity to milling operations. The ValGROOVE system consists of more options, for both insert and holder designs, than competitive systems, while the ValDRILL lineup answers the need for high metal removal rates for both large and small diameter holemaking.
Additional Valenite displays will include ValTURN(TM) Turning System tools and the ValTURN ValGRIP(TM) tool holders, plus samples of rotary connection adapters, Valenite VM Quick Change Tooling, and ValTRU(TM) high precision thermal and HSK tooling.
