Seiko I Infotech Introduces High Speed Solvent Printers with Print Speeds of 1,000+ sq. ft. per hour
San Diego, CA, October 14, 2008 - Seiko I Infotech is announcing that it will be introducing two new highspeed mild-solvent inkjet printers, the ColorPainter H-104s and H-74s, at the Specialty Printing and Imaging Expo (SGIA) in Atlanta, GA, 15 - 18 October.
The new Seiko I Infotech ColorPainter(TM) H-series printers feature a category-shattering print speed of over 1,000 sq. ft. per hour which is 3 - 4 times faster than competing models in the same market segment. The new ColorPainter printers include 8 new high-frequency piezo inkjet heads, which offer true 720 dpi resolution. The super-wide inkjet heads are capable of setting multiple drops without slowing down, to create maximum ink density levels.
With 8 print heads, the ColorPainter H-Series can be configured in two different formats - eight colors with one color per head (C, M, Y, K, Lc, Lm, Grey and Light Grey ink colors) for maximum image quality, or four colors with two colors per head (C, M, Y, K) for maximum speed and image quality.
Seiko I Infotech's ColorPainter H-Series printers showcase several new features including Smart Pass Technology, automatic media sensing and head height adjustment, an improved rack and pinion take-up system, removable sub-tanks, improved inkjet head maintenance, new low solvent GX ink and large environmentally-friendly 1.5 liter ink packs.
The new ColorPainter H-Series printers are available in two widths: 104" (Model: H-104s) and 74" (Model: H-74s). A demonstration of Seiko I Infotech ColorPainter H-104s and H-74s will be conducted during show hours at SGIA, Booth 1019. Additional product specifications will also be made available at that time.
