Features on New TOUGH GUN Reamer TT3 Series Simplify Maintenance and Increase Reliability
WINDSOR, Ontario. — Tregaskisshas introduced the next evolution of its popular TOUGH GUN™ Reamer— the new TOUGH GUN Reamer TT3 Series. With features that simplify maintenance and increase the product’s reliability in even the harshest welding environments, theTOUGH GUN Reamer TT3 Serieshelps extend the life of robotic MIG guns and consumables to increase productivity and profitability.
The TOUGH GUN Reamer TT3 Series features a new sprayer reservoir locationon the opposite side of the unit (compared toprevious models) to safeguard against overfilling and leakage onto internal electronics. Tregaskiss has also eliminated anelectronic check valve, which allows for faster troubleshootingand results in fewer parts to maintain in the sprayer system.Newplug and play internal replacement parts feature smart-keyed connections to ease assembly and provide quick in-cell troubleshooting.
The TOUGH GUN Reamer TT3 Series also includes simplified internal wiring by way of a centralized terminal strip, and the TOUGH GUN Anti-Spatter Sprayer now comes standard with this new model. The addition of a sprayer with an anti-spatter compound, like TOUGH GARD™ Anti-Spatter Liquidcan help extend the life of front-end consumables, including the nozzle and contact tip, and reduce maintenance and operating costs.       To ensure its reliability, the TOUGH GUN Reamer TT3 Series features internally mounted pneumatic valves and protected external setup switches, as well as seals on all points of entry to the reamer. External setup switches on the TOUGH GUN Reamer TT3 Series increase safety by allowing independent operation of the sprayer and the clamp and spindle during manual setup. Plus the cutter blade lifts into position but does not spin when activated by the spindle setup switch.
The TOUGH GUN Reamer TT3 Series is available with several optional features, including a wire cutter, dedicated motor lubricator, nozzle detection, TOUGH GUN Reamer Stand and more.
