CII Technologies, Inc. Releases High Performance Microwave Relay in 3, 4, and 6 GHz
Asheville, NC -- CII Technologies, Inc., a leading supplier of high performance electronic components, announced that the company has completed the development of the MW3HP, MW4HP and MW6HP, high performance microwave frequency relays with 3, 4 and 6 GHz capabilities respectively, offering extended temperature ratings of -65C to +125C while providing 30G's vibration and 10OG's shock environmental ratings. These high performance relays are excellent choices for precision test equipment, aerospace and military communication systems and other high frequency applications under demanding environmental conditions.

The MW High Performance family of products has enhanced microwave performance with excellent signal isolation of 18dB at 6GHz (MW6HP), 18dB at 4GHz (MW4HP), 22dB at 3GHz (MW3HP), stable insertion loss of 0.38dB (MW6HP), 0.27dB (MW4HP), 0.36dB (MW3HP), and low VSWR of 1.30:1 (MW6HP), 1.36:1 (MW4HP), 1.24:1 (MW3HP). The MW3HP, MW4HP and MW6HP microwave relays provide designers with capabilities exceeding any other sub-miniature relay on the market today in a compact design solution with a PCB footprint of 0.108 sq. in. and 0.280 in. maximum height. Popular coil input voltages of 5, 12, 18 and 26.5Vdc are available.
Volume unit prices for the MW High Performance family are $15 to $20 for the MW3HP, $ 20 to $30 for the MW4HP and $ 35 to $ 50 for the MW6HP.
