PLANO, Texas -- April 5, 2006 -- Microtune's Mobile MicroTuner(TM) MT2260 is integrated into the architecture of a new DVB-H integrated smartphone that is being demonstrated by Modeo at CTIA WIRELESS from April 5 to 7, 2006 in Las Vegas, NV. As announced today by Modeo, a leading company in the mobile television industry, the Microtune tuner-based smartphone offers converged digital TV, video, voice and data services on a single, sleek device. Based on the DVB-H (Digital Video Broadcast-Handheld) standard, the smartphone is manufactured to Modeo's mobile TV specifications by HTC.
