The MicroGyro® angular-rate sensor is available either as a standalone unit or bundled into a multi-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) for industries such as agriculture, construction, and a host of recreational vehicles ranging from boats and snowmobiles to ATVs and dirt bikes.
Because the MicroGyro® can measure an unmatched range of angular rates, it is impeccably suited for a wide variety of off-highway applications. With its piezoelectric quartz turning fork design, the MicroGyro® can withstand conditions up to 125°C, and its patented Continuous Built-In Test(TM) provides true continuous monitoring of sensor health and simultaneous rate sensing. These features make the MicroGyro® perfect for the harsh conditions of farming and construction and ideal for helping off-highway vehicles remain stable while roading.
