Micro-Hybrid Hermeseal® Hermetic Packaging for NDIR Components

Micro-Hybrid has developed the Hermeseal® hermetic packaging for NDIR components; pyroelectric and thermopile detectors and IR sources. The Hermeseal® hermetic packaging is needed for applications where:

• Low molecular weight gases like krypton that leak through an epoxy seal are used for high performance (Higher D* detectivity in detectors and higher output in IR sources)

• High temperature applications.

• The high temperature of the IR sources needs to be isolated from explosive gases.
